I have not been to visit this site in so many years that I don't remember how to do so! LOL Dang... I feel the need to expound on some thoughts. Well..... Here goes...
Good morning, Children! Can you say "Coup"... that 'p' is silent. It sounds like the Dove call, "Coo"... Grammie woke up this morning thinking about that word. Our Native American Ancestors counted 'Coup' on their enemy. During a battle, they would ride up unarmed and touch the enemy... then retreat whooping and hollering! They did this to prove their disdain (lack of respect) for the enemy and their bravery.
Now the French have that same word, but it means Government Takeover. Coup d'tate... "Coo-da-taa"... shortened to Coup "Coo". It's not about bravery or disdain, it's about Power. Sometimes it was done for the good of the People, but most often it was done for the Power of an Individual or a faction within the government.
I have a feeling we are watching a man in power trying to get more power. I have a feeling that he is working diligently to take over our government. Grammie thinks people would be wise to stop worrying about Joe Biden wanting Socialism (which he does not), and start worrying about Donald Trump wanting power... through Fascism or Communism.
I heard on the news this morning that he is replacing people in high places within the Pentagon with some of his 'kiss-ass' cronies. Can you say, "kiss-ass," Children? What about "Fascism" as in Hitler and Nazi Germany. Can you say that? What about "Communism," like Putin's Russia or Castro's Cuba? They are big words, and should not be used without knowing their meaning. Your old Grammie does not want to live in the United States of Russia. I hope you can see my point here...
Grammie is very wordy this morning... and just a bit worried!
